Solution: /NoteCon pairs users with mentors and speaker seminars who can answer questions and guide users through Notion’s content.
The process and findings of this project are written about in a detailed case study, titled Relax and Reflect /NoteCon.
/NoteCon illustrations were done in collaboration with a peer of mine. Notion’s unique art style was something he was already familiar with, which allowed me to focus on the strategy and experience of the user.
Designed to ease users and make them comfortable learning a new tool, /NoteCon had five user events created: Awareness, Planning, Waiting, Experience, and Follow-Up.

While /NoteCon was an entirely independent project of mine, within a few months, Notion decided to release Block by Block: a premise very similar to /NoteCon.

By the end of the /NoteCon, the users had a custom learning experience and received a goody box based on a self-assessed personality “condition.”  These free gifts were received on the last day of attendance.
